What we need from you.

Product Info.

We require all the information you have on your product to be able to write up a killer product title and description! Our proven (and secret!) techniques for writing out the content of the product listing page will ensure your product is searchable and attractive to the right target market.

Product Image.

The more images of the product you can provide us the better! Online shoppers rely on clear and accurate images of the product to commit to purchase. All main images online are uniform and require a plain white background. While we do require you to provide the images of your products, we do offer a free service for removing any background.

Pricing.

We need from you is the set cost per unit. You can choose to include delivery in the final cost price or, if you would prefer, you can set you price and make use of ShopAfrica's preferred courier pick up service. Once we know what costing we are working with, we are able to add our markup and set the selling price according to the national trends, seasons or scheduled promotions.

WHO WILL MANAGE OUR ACCOUNT?

Our working method is flexible and tailored to the requirements of our Suppliers. we join forces you will be allocated a dedicted Account Manager who will manage the entire life cycle from listing inception to placing orders

HOW OFTEN DO YOU ORDER WITH US?

We place orders daily with our Suppliers or as and when we sell your product online. 


DO YOU BUY STOCK IN BULK?

Once sales history has accumulated, ShopAfrica will start forecasting and ordering in bulk for stock to be delivered and stored at the various platform distribution centres.

WHICH SELLING PLATFORMS WILL YOU LIST OUR PRODUCTS?

In South Africa, Takealot.com has the monopoly on eCommerce sales.  ShopAfrica will retail your products on Takealot and other platforms we believe will most do your products justice.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN SHOPAFRICA PLACE AN ORDER WITH US?

All orders will be recorded on your order form, itemizing All orders will be recorded on your order form, itemizing information such as order details, expected delivery and payment due dates. Once you receive our new order we ask that you dispatch and deliver to the required location within 7 days.


WHERE DO WE NEED TO SEND ORDERS TO?

Orders will mostly be delivered to the fulfillment centres in Cape Town or Johannesburg for distribution by the platform in question. Alternatively ShopAfrica will arrange collection of the order at your Facility through our preferred couriers. 

WHAT ARE WE REQUIRED TO DO ONCE YOU HAVE SET UP OUR PRODUCTS ONLINE?

Apart from sending over your invoices on orders delivered, a regular inventory report is required to ensure we do not receive customer orders that cannot be fulfilled. The rest is up to us!

WHAT ARE YOUR PAYMENT TERMS?

We understand every business has their own set of payment terms. We are flexible on your payment terms and have never missed a payment date! References available on request.

DO WE NEED TO PACKAGE THE ORDERS IN A SPECIFIC WAY?

Yes, all orders need to be boxed and packaged in a way that can travel the country! ShopAfrica will provide guidance and supply you with unique barcodes, box labels and shipping notes for each order (nothing too strenuous!).
